That crap (abusing emminent domain to trranfer property from one
private owner to another) has been going on for many decades now.

I'm surprised it took this long for a case to get to the USSC, my
guess is that the lower courts have simply been refusing appeals.

Here in Michigan they are already introducing a bill to prevent
"eminent domain" from being used to transfer private property to
another private entitie.

Its a done deal in Alabama. It doesn't seem to be a Democrat of
Republican issue. Rather it seems to be rich elites who like the
SCOTUS decision. States that are ruled by them like it, more populist
states such as Alabama don't.
