Just suggest to him that he should run for the EAA Board Of Directors and
wait for the call...until hell froze over. It IS hard to say why.

His plane was there, he was there, and he was waiting for the call. It
never came, and it sure is hard to say why.

I, for one, would have been thrilled to see his new "motorcycle jumping
over the airplane while it cuts the ribbon" trick.
