Sebastian Kawa actually lost 5 minutes due to him flying over crashed
glider as he was trying to get someone on the radio to get help. Had
he continued with his flight without trying to help someone he would
finish 5 minutes earlier.
The crash of the downed glider happened the day before and the
competing pilots were not told about it.
