Hi Mike -

Actualyl, small headphones generally are not the 8 ohm impedance.
They are higher. But, 600 ohm might not be the spec on these - I'll check.
Possibly 32 ohm is quite common in in-ear phones.
But, a simple transformer can fix that. . .
