We've had perhaps two days of rain in the last 2.5 months here near the coast in
New Jersey. The leaves are dead already, even if they *do* look green. As soon
as the temp drops a bit, so will they. I expect there will be no color at all
this year. Of course, we don't get the sort of show that NE gets, anyway.

I understand that the situation is much the same in the Smokies near my home
town. The people that make a living from tourism are already wailing and
knashing teeth.
