I'm leaning towards installing a fuel flow monitor.
Either the JPI FS 450 or the Shadin Microflo-L Since I have only a 2
1/4 hole open I've kind of settled on one of these two.
Any comments pro or con?
I have the Shadin in my COZY MKIV. It works great and is easy to use,
and seems to be VERY accurate. With no calibration (just as it came out
of the box) it's usually within 0.1 gallons on a 50 gallon fillup. I
have it patched into my Garmin 195 output, and it gives useful MPG, fuel
to dest., etc. information.
It did crap out on me once, and rebooted itself every 3 seconds or so,
but I sent it back, they found a cold solder joint, fixed it, and had it
back to me in about 2 weeks. No charge, under warranty.
I have no experience with the JPI unit or the company.
