Default fuel monitor

I too, like to vent my comments about cust. support (read Garmin) but I did
get the new JPI EzTrends FREE for the download, tech support on a new laptop
that was complaining about the download. (USB is the norm. Serial is what
JPI does, hence the converter.)

Can't sat that I've had bad service. The product works as advertised and if
you include fuel flow with the engine analyzer, you save the hole and get
the full features of the JPI.

Having used EI & JPI, I'd say the JPI has better features and no complaints
about the support.

Then you came in at the end. JPI went thru a whole process to make it
impossible to read the data that used to be readable with a simple
prorgam that every computer had. They then made you send them your data
and they would send it back to you in a readable format. After all the
bitching they made the program available to you for free so if you don't
know the backstory you think it's a great deal. But that isn't even the
worst of it. Their attitude towards their customers is horrible. I
still belong to the Cessna Pilots Assoc and on their message boards the
president of the company has dozens of messages there basically saying
to kiss my ass. If you don't like it buy something else. You couldn't
have written a better script on how not to treat customers. EI is
laughing all the way to the bank.
