I went last year for the first time, as a new PP, and learned a lot. I
would highly recommend it.
They have several different tracts of seminars, All Pilot (generalized
info), Technology (WAAS, GPS, new tech toys), Proficiency Seminars,
Medical Issues, Safety Seminars, Owner Seminars and Guest programs.

Also, they have excellent guest speakers. Last year, Mike Melville spoke
about flying Spaceship one. He did an excellent talk, discussing his
machine, the flight and the experience. They also organized a talk with
then director of the TSA (who appeared a bit clueless about GA) and with
the director of the FAA.
The parties are a great way to meet new people around the GA community.
The only drawback is the cost (like everything in aviation). The seminar
is a bit expensive, but the amount learned is well worth it.
Hey- If anyone is interested, we should try to meet up at one of the
functions or something. I read this newsgroup almost daily, and it would
be nice to match faces with names.
