I agree it's wise to be restrictive about which pilot one flies with, or
one's family flies with. But then, that's true of automobiles as well.
It's true of a lot of things.

I don't see it as an indictment of GA. It's just a representation of how
the world is. Unfortunately, some other people do see it as an
indictment...without recognizing the complete irrationality of their
attitude.
