Apollo 800 Flybudy Loran wanted
Yes, really.
Our Apollo 800 Flybuddy put it's little tits up in the air today and
started waving its legs weakly.
I actually like this unit for VFR flying. No distracting moving maps
and temptation to hunker down in the cockpit. Distance and bearing,
what more do you need? A lot of our members have their own GPS units
that they can take home to practice with so we don't want to spend
much on something fancier to fill the hole or get into the expense or
runnnig new cables and a new antenna. It's also a good back up.
There were a lot of these on Ebay a couple of years ago but no more.
Does anyone have one lying around or know where we could get one for a
quick swap?
