Default Final Glide: Edward "Ted" Pearson

I was privileged to fly in several events with Ted , both in South
Africa and Rhodesia( now Zimbabwe) in the 1970's . Ted prided himself
in being able to beat the pack in the toughest weather such as when
summer thunderstorms arrived mid task. Now that I live in Indiana I
sometimes think of Ted as I fly over or near Grissom Air Force base, as
he once told me he did some pilot training during WW 2 at "Bunker Hill"
- which is now Grissom. RIP Ted .
