The Lycoming is time-proven

It's time-proven to be a ridiculously expensive, inefficient, loud, and
generally nasty beast of mediocre reliability. I hope Textron loses
money on each one and finally shutters the 652 Oliver St. building
quietly and without fanfare one day. Certificated aircraft owners will
be looking at turbines then. Since only the wealthy can afford them
anymore and since the gap between them and avarage Americans is growing
so widely, they will be able to write a check and not flinch.
Canada will get a windfall since that is where the P&WC PT-6 is
produced. Each one costs about twenty grand to build and they retail
for around half a million each.

Where'd you get that?
