Actually, the Navy's Top Gun is the answer to Red Flag, which predates
the Top Gun program by several years.

And, actually, the movie "Red Flag - The Ultimate Game" predated the movie "Top
Gun" by a few years, too.

Working for the main sponsor for the IMAX movie, I snagged a couple of tickets
to the Seattle premiere. Nice goodie bags. Yes, the plotline was a bit
simplistic, but the photography was fantastic. Air-to-air of a B-2 filling an
IMAX screen from side to side is pretty unforgettable...
