I've landed at Downtown airport a number of times as well, and it is a short
taxi ride to the hotels, etc.

The FBO is just like any other airport's, although the ride from the airport
to the city was through a wasteland. The scenery reminded me of the early
Mel Gibson movie with the Tina Turner music (I forget the name, sorry)
