Living on a tropical island paradise does have its limits. At least the
FAA says that they will send me replacement certificates. Now all I
have to do is figure out how to replace the medical.
My Daughter was robbed at gunpoint in Saigon (Hochimin City (sp?) now)
and lost all her documents. Went to the consultant, the word went out
and when she was ready to leave, all her *original* papers were
waiting. She lost all the money, but that amounted to about the
equivalent of $5 US.
She said that outside of the Saigon street gangs, it was a very
friendly country.
