I had a Compaq 1550 but I dropped it (about a foot) and it no longer works.
I now use an Ipaq 3955 and the readability is just about as good (or bad) as
the old 1550 but the power comsumption is a lot higher for the color screen.
The totally reflective displays like "Electronic Ink" look good. We don't
really need fast response screens - just really good 'at-a-glance'
readability in direct sunlight.
