What was it the bible said?

Well, some of my personal favorites are that eating shellfish is an
abomination (Lev 11:11); that a sacrificed goat's kidneys should be burned
on an altar (Lev 3:16); and that it's alright to enslave people who don't
share your religion (Lev 25:44). But the newfangled political-correctness
fad seems to have instilled doubt about these commandments.

That argument does not wash with Christians, who consider the Mosaic Law
fulfilled in Jesus Christ. That is why we call it the "New" Testament.

In many ways, the Christian requirements are more strict than the Mosaic
Law. Where before you could not commit adultery, now you cannot look upon
another with lust. Where before you could not kill, now you cannot be angry.
Where before there were Mosaic rules regarding the slave trade, now each man
should be treated as your brother. Where before you had to sacrifice goats'
kidneys or pigeons, now you have to give to Christ all that you have, even
your heart. The Mosaic Law ruled your actions. The Christian Law rules your
intentions. It makes all the difference in the world.

Truly, there is little room for homosexuality or any other form of sexual
exploitation in Christianity. JJ misquoted Paul in his letter to Timothy,
but the point is that God will be the judge of what and who is good and
evil, not you, or JJ, or me. The doctrines and philosophies of men count for
nothing.

What does all this have to do with IFR flying?
