Default Adhesive removal

wrote:
Ok,
We have discussed how to remove the male condoms used by a number of
pilots as part of their relief systems. Now, how does everybody remove
the remaing adhesive? Paint thinner, acetone, only kidding. But, how
do you get that struff off. Soap and water does not seem to do the
trick. What is the secret?

Tom:

The active ingredient in most adhesive removers is Toluene. This can be
purchased in most hardware stores by the pint and possibly by the gallon
as well. Ace Hardware carries it in pints and it is labeled Toluol. Very
effective stuff, but I strongly recommend using it outside to avoid the
vapors. Also I would use PVC gloves to avoid absorbing it through your
skin.
