Just curious --
Does the military still use the year the a/c was ordered as the first two
digits of the tail number?.. as in "1960" in this example (or maybe just the
first digit? as in "nineteen something-ty six")....followed by a serial
number? (This plane looks too young to be 1960.)

Unfortunately the 60112 is the military designation for public aircraft
(IE
Military). It is not a registration N-number.
