Hi, Jim. I'm still using it, as I have a 196 on the co-pilot's yoke
that doesn't (yet) accept King data and I want both yoke-mounted GPSs
to get the route. Also, having the switch in there is useful for when
you don't want the data transferred. If and when the 196 firmware is
updated, I'll pull the unit and install a switch to isolate the serial
data. I saw your question elsewhere about Oshkosh -- yep, getting there
