Default Cockpit Rage

I heard this one... ATC was very busy and finally issued a
hold to about a dozen aircraft. One of the aircraft said
"Bull****." The controller lost his temper and said, "Who
said bull****?"

Every aircraft came back with... United 123, negative on the
bull****. American 234, negative on the bull****. This was
the reply from all the aircraft.

|A little humor? I can't vouch personally for this story,
but it was told to
| me by a pilot as the truth, and does have a humorous tint.
|
| It was during the slow-down by the controllers at the
major terminals - that
| was when? - the early '60's? - at Chicago O'Hare. Planes
were stacked up
| waiting to depart, jockeying for position, and tempers
were warm in the
| cockpits. It's assumed that in his confusion some guy
dropped his mike, and
| in his grappling to recover it, he accidently depressed
the button and he
| was heard to say, " Man! I'm all f-ed up!" Immediately the
tower demanded
| "Who said that! What's your number!" There was a long
period of absolute
| silence, from everybody, and a quiet voice piped up, "I
ain't THAT f-ed up!"
