Alisport Silent gliders
I have flown the 12M version the Silent-IN.
Runs reasonably well, climbs reasonably well. Easy to handle on the
ground. No significant vices. Plenty of climb power. Slick retract
mechanism.
It won't come close to keeping up with my old Discus, but it's really not
meant to. It is a nice, comfortable, easy to own, personal self-launching
glider. It has alot of flexibility and more than enough performance for
cross-country flight.
One of these days I'll get around to trying out the longer winged version
and the pure glider one as well. We have one of each at Chilhowee.

Hi,
I know there is a forum for this, but I am after other comments from
pilots in this group who may have flown the aircraft or own one?
