No, just records of the time required to track the required
maintenance. If tires have limits, you log landings, if the
engines have start cycle limits, you log starts. The
requirement varies with the aircraft certification, but Part
91 only requires minimums. The more modern airplanes have
data recorders that automatically track data.

Companies operating under part 91 may have their own rules,
for internal accounting.
