At least, I tend to believe so, after having lost
three friends in midairs (two events).


Actually, that's the one situation the chute hasn't proven itself in
yet. Nobody knows if it will even work after your average mid-air. But
it's a hope, for sure. Still requires the pilot to pull, too.
