DC Bose test - Update..
I love my Pearl!
It produces static in the headsets if the audio leads are too close
to the phone. Especially the Bose.
But if I keep the wires 12 in. or more away from it, no prob with the
DC X-11
Interestingly, the ILS(GS) transmitter can be heard in the Bose as we
over fly it on approach, nothing in the DC's ....

Most interesting thread.
I tried my new Bose headset today in my 182. Very comfortable - great sound
quality - but I was shocked when I turned off the system. The racket is
incredible.
I don't care about the cell interface as my Blackberry Pearl interferes with
the Com equipment anyways and I have to turn it off - and I don't care about
the music either.
But the dead box possibility means that I'll carry my old DC 13.4s with me
in my bag just in case.
I'll try again on Thursday. Maybe I'll get a pair of DCs on approval and do
a comparison test.

This is the singular reason I dumped my DC's for Bose.
It's a biggie when it matters.
