That's a new one to me, and I've been around here about 10 years. I may
have forgotten about it if it was way back when, but I can say with some
confidence that there has been nobody around here with that kind of claim,
in the past couple years.

You know as well as anyone that the signal to noise ratio goes up and
down, over time. I would have to say that there is a pretty high noise
factor, at the present time. There have been some interesting
discussions, from time to time. As you could imagine, there has been a
fair amount of discussion about the sport pilot and sport plane rules,
with some good points being made.

For some really interesting (not) stuff, google for treadmill takeoff.
You will see that there are still a lot of dense people around. g
