Default Anyone know what this object is celebrating? Aerodrome Southend: G-ACTX: Flying Services Ltd

G- ACTX was a AVRO 638 CLUB CADET serial No 718 built by AV Roe and Co (the
firm that built the Lancaster bomber).
see the link below if you want to know what it looked like.

Hello,

I have come across a small wooden object with the following plaque:

G-ACTX
Aerodrome Southend
Flying Services Ltd

Would anyone know what this is commemorating?

I have tried Southend Airport, but no joy!

Thanks.
