I did that on purpose. We had about five ospreys fishing in our lake
at once. They were dipping and diving and they don't pay any
attention to the aircraft in the pattern. I'm surprised we don't have
more bird strikes. The last one I heard about was a Blue Angel F-18
hit a bird on takeoff last year but it didn't interfere with the
practice.

We have some ATC issues here on Lake Union, as well.
