I may be flying into Republic airport to pick up a gift.

It looks like there's a landing fee as well as a ramp fee. With luck it
will be a ten minute stop. Any recommendations?

Go somewhere else close by. NY loves fees.

How much is the landing fee at FRG?

Landing fee is $2.50

How much is the ramp fee at FRG?

Ramp Fee for one of the FBO's are in the $25 range

Is there a choice of FBOs?

There's Atlantic Aviation at the south side of the field and SheltAir at the
north. They're about the same.

Do they all charge the same ramp fee?

Yes unless you buy gas, then they waive it

JFK and MacArthur are the closest. Are they better to land at than FRG?

Not really. JFK will cost you about $100 in fees and KISP is the same as
KFRG in terms of fees with the added Class Charlie airspace procedures.

Recommendation: fly to FRG and go to the Main Terminal--there is no fee.
Just park along the edge of the ramp along the runway. Atlantic handles the
parking freq (122.95) but that parking are is not theirs so they can charge
you. Have your people on the ground meet you at the Main Terminal for the
gift exchange and your off with only a $2.50 fee. If you need AvGas, ask to
taxi to the Echo Ramp and there's a self-serve pump there. Price is
$4.85/gal with a Chevron Card and $4.95/gal without. There's also a
self-serve at the south side by the Atlantic FBO but it's tucked away in the
corner and a longer taxi.

local.live.com will give you some good bird's-eye-view sat images to check
out your bearings.

Let me know if you need more info.
