We immediately hiked over to the Goodwill Store to purchase our "cheap
wheels" for the week, only to find that someone had screwed up and not
sent enough bikes to Oshkosh.

Hiked?! Hiked!?

You rode over to the Goodwill in the lap of luxury (insert commercial for
2008 Ford Explorer) ...with the A/C on high.

By God, you're right! That first day seems like 100 years ago, now.

We *did* hike BACK from there, since our chauffer didn't bother to
wait for us...
