Surplus (a place I'm sure a few people on this list have visited since
they carry mil surplus) a few weeks ago and hit a Kirks nearby. I
hadn't had such a fat injection in years, not that I needed any more
fat.

Oh yeah, Mountain View surplus has two stores: one in (duh) Mountain
View and one in Campbell. The Campbell store is the place to go for
the real thing. In fact, some of the stuff they sell makes me nervous,
like who really has to paint their face black???

I've been to the Kirks in Palo Alto many years ago. I think it was on
California. I've also been to the one in Lost Altos about two years
ago.

The 361 N. California location is the one missing but
I found they moved a few blocks North to T & C Ctr.
at El Camino and Embarcadero.

In 1964 there was a Kirk's just a few blocks from my
first apt. in No. Cal. in Santa Clara but a new freeway
forced them to relocate to the 361 N. California spot.
Seems that just when they get settled ...
