As you said, Reno is a great place for fun of all kinds. We always enjoy the scenic drive up the Sierra slopes from the SF Bay Area - the tourists have largely gone home and you don't need to worry about carrying chains at that time of fall.

"Snow" is a four-letter word and should be treated like all othe four
letter words. :-)
