I was doing some reading on line about the hurricanes that hit the
gulf not so long ago and one of the images was a before and after of a
hangar!!! Which is obviously where and I remembered seeing the Corsair
in VMA 212 markings!

If this is the plane, she was damaged when a 10ft storm surge
tore open the walls of the display area. after the storm,
they reported 5 foot of water in the museum.
the Blackbird was also damaged extensively. some aircraft
were totally destroyed. the battleship itself was tilted 6 degrees.
Pictures were taken by the museum staff.
