We are very happy to announce that LX Navigation will be releasing their
new LX8000 Color computer. This instrument has a color display that you
will be able to read in bright sunlight!

I love the idea of the bright color display, but what I'm really wondering
is ... is it available in the USA with FLARM capability?

Yes FLARM is a normal option on all current LX7000-7007.....but, who in the
USA even uses FLARM????

One reason is FLARM won't sell units to the USA, so I'm wondering if
FLARM actually allows LX to sell that capability to US pilots. If so, I
think there would be some market for it, like the Minden pilots flying
at 250 knot closing speeds along the White Mountains, or maybe ridge
runners on the Allegheny ridges, and pilots in contests.
