NASA FACES CONGRESSIONAL INQUIRY OVER PILOT SAFETY SURVEY
(http://www.avweb.com/eletter/archive...ll.html#196450)
NASA got into hot water over the weekend when The Associated Press
reported
(http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5j...4Iv7Bi9q_L98bQ)

Addressing this story, a few things come to mind.

What I find most interesting is that there seems to be more concern over
"what we don't know" than what we do know about its contents. I suspect
that the juiciest parts are already public knowledge, considering the
coverage on several national news programs.

Conspiracy theorists are having a field day trying to assess reasons for
NASA's decision not to immediately release this information and requesting
that the survey organization destroy their copies of the data. Certainly,
nobody in this day and age could think that any information could be
quashed in this manner.

Tempest -- teapot.
