Isn't it pretty cold and dark over the North Atlantic this time
of year? Don't you get nervous making the crossing with winter
weather?

I get the willies just thinking about it.

Yea, 4 to 5 hours of day light..... Not to bad go when weather is
good!

Do you have a survival suit at least?

Hey, at least the airplane has a parachute so that he can ditch
softly, and have the raft prepped and ready with the door open so
that he can get out immediately on touchdown.

I'm guessing he flies the Goose Bay - Greenland - Reykjavik route to
stay over land as much as possible? It must get lonely over 30W when
you're by yourself.

Much cheaper to go Gander-Shannon if possible. Narsarsuaq has some of the
most expensive fuel on the planet. And even if you don't stop there you
only pass by the southern tip of greenland. I'd rather be over the sea than
most of greenland if I lost the only donkey I had anyway..
