Only if you're a capitalist.
Never copied a music CD?
Dies this mean somebody can come help themselves to anything they might
fancy from your home without consequence?
That would leave me without that item. Making a copy of something
doesn't remove it from your possession.
That's agiven with posted images - there is at least one copy created on
every computer it passes through or ends up on. The problem folks are
having here is the possible removal of copyright info and subsequent
reposting. Troy24 very well may have reposted them exactly as he found
them, but it does appear somebody had removed copyright info beforehand.
It really is a pride thing for a lot of us photographers; as Maple1
already said, it takes a lot of money to get the equipment and many years
of practice to get as good as some of the posters of original images here
are.
And if I see someone reposting my images, I take pride in knowing
someone appreciates them. I don't stick any copyright notice on them,
people can make use any way they see fit.
which is your right, as it is the right of all original artists to copyright
their w*rk or not. once copyrighted, it's not your place to decide whether or
not said copyright is justified, but whether or not you're going to break the
law.
redc1c4,
(that you choose not copyright your art shows you recognize it's value.. %-)
