I'd look for flights between Asia and the midwest or east coast making
stops in Anchorage or Fairbanks, and book the leg between Alaska and the
lower 48. I presume you're not limiting yourself to US carriers with
whatever is restraining you from leaving the US? If not, look for
extensions of foreign flights from east or west coast points of entry to
internal destinations. E.g., Tokyo - San Francisco - Chicago. (Not that
I know whether that route is flown - just made it up as an example.)
