I pretty much ignored both Consumer Reports and Aviation Consumer until
they'd their articles on the Internet. It doesn't do me a lot of good to
have diesels reviewed on Monday if I'm not buying one until Thursday.

But with articles now available at the search of a keyword, I've become a
"subscriber" to both (though I wish AC permitted me to opt out of the
paper).

I know that this doesn't go directly to the issue of editorial honesty,
but I thought I'd point out a far more mundane task that both periodicals
have done right.
