Does anyone have experience of using a Piper Cherokee 180 as glider tug and

I own a PA28-180 and never in my wildest dreams have I considered
towing with it.

I see you are in UK so with lower density altitudes than I'm used to
in SW USA it might be possible to use it to tow light single seaters.
Certainly would not be my first choice for a tow plane and I wouldn't
be the first one to hook up behind it.

We have 2 PA28-235s in use at sea level in Hollister. They regularly
tow SGS 2-32s @max gross wt to 8k for rides over Monterey Bay. Not
the same performance as our PA25-235 but easier to get tow pilots
because of insurance problems! Haven
