Who else but the british could design a FIGHTER that only carried
weapons on the top of the wing, a beautiful aeroplane. I remember
trying to tow one at Yeovilton, it having bee diverted from Boscome
down and the aeroplane had a very-very long pitot head and the NATO
towing bar had to be extended with a strop. The little things you
remember in your life BUT forget if you turned off the gas before
going to work!
