The water coming out the bottom of the dam stays in the 50-53 degree
range year round - I've been in it, in wetsuit, and I've dove to the
bottom of Canyon Lake before. River temp close to 70 degrees by the time
you get to Gruene crossing. And besides.. after a few beers, you dont
shiver as much anymore!! grin

We had an 86 degree day last weekend. Why wait til REAL summer temps in
the triple digits hit.

But hey.. the original recommendation was just to hit the Grist Mill..
thats worth it alone in my book... specially for an out of towner.
