PBIA constructed a huge new taxiway right next to their small GA runway.
Airport management expresses continual surprise when airplanes land on the
taxiway after mistaking it for the GA runway. After trying several
other fixes,
they are now painting much of the taxiway green as camouflage to
approaching
aircraft. Unless you are OK with a 30-day license suspension, keep in
mind that
there are no sod runways at KPBI!

Livermore (LVK) has a similiar problem, and their solution was to
paint 'taxi' in big letters on the taxiway right where the runway
identifier would be.

Sshhh! Not only is that too practical and not political enough for
southeastern Florida, but the same is true in Kalifornia. So don't let them
find out in Sacramento. Come to think of it; for God/s sake, don't let them
find out what Sacramento means!
