Yes. The RAF buy the best plane for the job. In the past, they have
bought US-made equipment, such as the Hercules or the current AWACS
platform. UK forces are also buying the JSF, made in the USA. In the
past they bought the F4 Phantom.

The UK military is nowhere near as picky as the US for the source of
aircraft. It used to be *ALL* US military aircraft had to be made in the
USA - for example, the US Marines Harriers were all made in the USA.
