Located at the northern perimeter of Airforce Plant 42 in Palmdale,
California (site of the Skunkworks). Look like some sort of HAS
(Hardened Aircraft Shelter) due to the shape, but they don't look to
have roofs.



Much clearer in Google Earth images.
appear to be roofless hanger/engine test stands.
perhaps an effort to keep noise to a minimum.
as well as a way to keep prying eyes and/or dust down

both appear to have two tiedown posts/points visible inside..
