Default The Joy Of Usenet: A message from 'Anonymous'

To borrow a line: "Bring it on."

Will you be as good at backing it up as Bush was?
I can bring an awful lot of "shock and awe" to the party.

Perhaps, perhaps not. Life has risks. I'm not losing sleep over it; if
someone's determined enough to come to Fairmont, Minnesota to come after me,
there's not much that will deter him.

Oh, your roommate.
OK, I see now.

Your point is?

You'll run this risk whether or not you stand behind your words. Let's say
you **** off someone in traffic, and he follows you to the airport...

If he steps out of his car with a weapon, he'll get a very loud surprise.

Good for you.

The point is that you run that risk every day, and it's much higher than the
risk someone will come across the country to attack you for what you say on
the net.

I think you may be taking life a little too seriously, Jay.

*ME*??!! I can't take myself too seriously. If I tried, things like this
week's South Park would bring me crashing back down to earth.

My philosophy is to treat people with courtesy, respect, and good humor.

But you don't respect us enough to stand behind your words.

But always have a plan to kill everyone you meet.

Heh. You'd appreciate one of my favorite webcomics, Schlock Mercenary.
