__________ 2000 EH 101 Merlin
Exercise Pegasus Trial, which took place during September
2001, saw the first field deployment of the new RAF EHI Merlin
HC3, and the first tactical troop lift by No 28 (Army
Co-operation) Squadron from RAF Benson in an exercise scenario.
It was the first time that the Merlin had been cleared to operate
with 24 troops
