Since the subject has been raised, it is worth mentioning that AOPA
has Aviation-Themed forums on their website. You do have to be a
member to even read them (they are in the "Members" section). Dunno if
they are moderated or not, but they do seem to contain items worth
reading (IMHO).

The AOPA forums are indeed fine forums, although I believe you must be a
member of AOPA to access them. I'm not sure as well how membership in
AOPA is handled for international pilots wishing to access a moderated
forum.
I'm sure there are those here who have that answer handy and will comment.
I believe the current rate at AOPA is 39 dollars????????
