Soaring in the Great Basin is presently excellent, with almost perfect
conditions - hot, dry and just enough moisture to provide high-base
cumulus. These conditions are expected to prevail at least through
the middle of next week.

Motorglider pilots and others have been racking up some impressive
flights, including several 1,000 km+.
