I think the camouflage pattern looks like that of an Egyptian
aircraft (and Egypt is a likely source of the exhibit).

More than likely the US Air Farce Museum got the MiG-19 from the
'Gippos' and didn't finish the markings for either the commanitz Chinese or
the Viets.
I picked up the Osprey #25 "MiG-17 and MiG-19 Units of the VietNam War"
and scanned the pictures of the "Farmers".. ENJOY!!!
I got a 'million' pictures from the two Smithsonian Air & Space Museums,
the new US Marine Corps Museum and the USAF Museum, but I've gotta' take the
time to reduce them and probably won't get the time until this fall, 'cuz
it's too hot here and I've gotta' stay in the swimming pool! ((-;
